Privacy & Data
How we collect, use, and remove data in the AMV Archive
What data we have
The AMV Archive contains information about AMV (Anime Music Video) editors, studios, contests, conventions, and videos. This includes editor names, screen handles, studio names, contest information, and more.
Where it came from
Data was crawled from publicly accessible pages on animemusicvideos.org and other public AMV community sources. No private accounts, passwords, or non-public data were accessed. We treat all data as public information that was already visible on those sites.
What we do with it
The data is used solely to power the AMV Archive. The AMV Archive is a community reference tool for browsing contest history, editor profiles, and AMV entries. We do not sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. We also do not host, share, or distribute any videos included in the archive.
Your right to removal
If you are an editor or community member whose data appears in the archive and you would like it removed or corrected, use the form below. We will process your request and remove or anonymize the relevant records. Requests are typically handled within a few days.
